Hello, I hope you are having a great, wonderful day. If you need some help with determining whether you are using the right meditation methods in your daily practice, then you came to the right post with the right content. In today’s blog, I will be walking you through the 7 best meditation methods that you can use to boost your mood, energy levels, and overall meditation experience.
Lotus Knows (Methods) Best
This lotus method is arguably the most traditional method on the list as it’s highly recommended among most meditation experts and gurus. Still, if you want to use meditation to the best, most optimal effect, you definitely want to give this method a try. Not only does lotus help you to relax your body, but it also helps you to get aligned with your energy centers or chakras.
When this is implemented, you get to experience balance among every part of your being as well as alignment among your mind, body, and soul.
The benefits are endless with this first of seven best meditation methods to effortlessly declutter and recharge your batteries all the merrier. Traditionalist or not, don’t dodge it until you try it.
Mother Lotus knows best.
Meditation Madness?
Even though meditation works regardless of where your eyelids fall, it is advisable to close your eyes during all meditation practices. Sure, sometimes you get busy and when you have more experience, you can just meditate with little or no effort. Matter of factly, the more you repeat the practical art of meditation, the more you can do meditation with your eyes open — I know, this sounds very counter-intuitive, unorthodox, and left field.
Nonetheless, closing your eyes leads to a more intimate, profound experience.
Letting your mind go blank and shutting off the world is not the best method to pursue when you are a beginner to the whole meditation experience, let alone when need to limit the number of external stimuli you absorb. Let’s just face it: you come to meditate to regroup your barrings and the last thing you need is extra distractions that defeat the purpose.
Therefore, closing your eyes and allowing yourself to hibernate from the world is among the best meditation methods.
To close your eyes is to activate and open your third eye.
Home Alone Methods
This one might be common sense. Perhaps it brings up a passive-aggressive bout of nineties nostalgia, but it is also very deceptively simple: go it alone. Yes, you read that correctly. Meditate when there are no distractions, no people around to bug you, and of course, safe to do so. You might not always be able to determine if suddenly noise is going to infiltrate your practice, but it is quite helpful to know in advance and gauge the best time to do so.
Remember, irrespective of your faith, creed, or religion, this is your sacred, divine time. You’ve got to reverence your meditation and practice it as though it is the most important thing in the world. Channel all of your energy on the most auspicious, solo outcome and leave no room for a full house to rummage through your groove.
Your goal is to effortlessly generate focus, not distraction, frustration, and abrupt interruptions.
Focus.
Lose yourself in all the right ways.
Two Minds Meditate Better than One
SORRY! Did I burst your bubble? Did I flip your wig and knock it off completely?
Well, get used to it because there is certainly a method to this madness, or should I say, a method to this meditation?
While meditating alone is very important, that only applies when you are the only person meditating on deck. When you aren’t the only person meditating and there are other people within your proximity, you better buckle up — you’re in great luck. Believe it or not, the healing energy is thousands of times more powerful with each person combined.
It’s time to keep your company closer than an enemy.
The reason behind the marvelous, awesome phenomenon directly correlates with the power of collective belief. The more people believing in the same thing, the stronger the belief. The stronger belief, the stronger the feeling. The stronger the feeling, the stronger the reality. Very transformative indeed!
That said, group meditation is highly recommended to feel the full, unweighted effect of this astoundingly powerful method.
Now before you go all bonkers with that meditative mind of yours…
However, it goes against wise guidance to not do this virtually with the recent COVID-19 pandemic. There is more than one way to skin a cat with collective guided meditation, or should I say, more than one person?
Morning Meditation
Did you know that your subconscious mind never sleeps and is the most open to suggestion when you first wake up? That’s right! Within the first ten to twenty minutes of your special, brand-new day, your sponge of a mind is the most receptive to all images, symbols (even thoughts and emotions), words, and experiences.
If you are interested in reprogramming your subconscious mind to forge the path to a brighter, healthier, more productive day, then this method is your daily cup of tea.
Why not start your day off on the right foot, on the right track, and with the right frame of mind? After all, you have nothing to lose by devoting the first minutes of your day to the practice of meditation. Matter of factly, you have everything to gain.
I would recommend that you partake in daily morning meditation. The more you repeat something, the more your subconscious mind fathoms, absorbs, and to a more significant extent, accepts it as fact, truth, and reality.
You are in full control of your daily destination. All you have to do is take initiative and turn the odds in your favor.
Without a doubt in my mind, you will experience more joy, peace, enlightenment, love, and bliss every day in every way.
Night Owls are the Best Methods
Oops, I did it again! Anyways…

Provided that there is no one-size-fits-all method. It is just as plausible, valid to meditate in the morning as it is to meditate at night. Furthermore, meditating as soon as you wake up and right before you go to bed is the ideal way to go to produce optimal results to great effect.
The morning is not the only time the brain is in the most receptive state — anytime you wake up or about to go to sleep your mind automatically opens the gateway to the unconscious and conscious realms. For this reason alone, meditating at night is just as beneficial, if not more, than morning meditation to replenish your soul and tackle whatever obstacle comes your way.
Plus, for approximately ninety-five percent of us, the day is very hectic, busy, challenging, and demanding so what better way to take the load off with this weightless, effortless, life-saving meditation method? Finding the time to recharge your batteries for the next day, let alone, the next week or so is the way to go. Invest in your health in all areas and sleep on it.
And if you are a night owl like me, you might just wanna try this one out. It’ll be your perfect breakfast for dinner scenario.
Why not call this nocturnal nourishment?
Best Meditate-Sun Ever!
Sure, perhaps you’ve got all that you need with the previous six methods, but adding on the seventh and final one will most certainly help, especially if you live in a place where sunlight is abundant. If this doesn’t apply to you, don’t fret. I am more than confident that you will find long-lasting solace within the other six best meditation methods.
Regardless if you live in the northern or southern hemisphere or the time of the year, it is critical to get sunlight and one way you can do this is by sun gazing regularly. YES! Let the sun soak, or rather, beam through all your pores to enrich your skin and bone health, as well as your mental health. Now more than ever, this method is encouraged to get unlimited access to organic, all-natural vitamin D supply.
I would even recommend vacationing in the winter months to warmer, brighter, and sunnier landscapes (e.g. Grand Canyon) to boost your mood, enhance your interconnectedness, and above all meditate in peace as you bathe in the forest of nature.
You can visit parks, resorts, landscapes, etc. Whether you are sitting in the sunroom or gazing on the roof of your car, the method stays the same: look to the light; be it! So if you are in the dark about how to boost your meditation experience and take your methodology to the next level, this is for you.
It is time to take the best meditate-sun of your life!
Which Meditation Method is the BEST?

That one is entirely up to you. Again, there is no right or wrong answer. I would just find what works best and do more of the same. It is also highly recommended to step outside of your comfort zone and expand your horizons as this is the best way to experiment, brainstorm more alternatives, and discover even better methods to meditate.
