If you are wondering what are the benefits of deep breathing in meditation, you won’t have to stay in the dark any longer. This article will be exploring the correlation between deep breathing and the benefits that come with this style of mindful meditation. So sit back, relax, and let your mind wander to new and improved heights as you discover the benefits of deep breathing in meditation beyond your wildest dreams!
“When I Was Young, I Felt Immortal”
Yes, you got me. This is clearly a line from Lady Gaga’s “Sine From Above.” It was the best line I could think of to perfectly sum up what I’m about to say next: deep, mindful breathing while meditation boosts your longevity.
Not only does meditation increase the quality of your life, health, and well-being but it also makes you live longer. Just imagine how much more you could accomplish if you had a few more months, years, and decades added on to how long you were destined to live from the start.
How would you feel if you could have fate on your side as your life aligns in your favor by first and foremost helping you to feel better and more alive than ever?
What if the tables were turned?
What if you felt young regardless of your biological age?
If you were at the very least three seconds closer to being immortal?
What would you do if you could transform a terminal situation into a series of miraculous events?
Well, all of these scenarios are not only possible but probable when you sprint into the heart of meditation. You can travel anywhere when you go deep into the subconscious of meditation. If you always wanted to know what lies beyond the tip of the iceberg, then this is your shot.
Not at mere knowing, but clear, keen understanding from direct experience.
Immortality is more than just a feeling; it is a state of being (energy never dies).
Imagine if you had all the superhuman powers of a vampire, minus the venom, soullessness, and perpetual stuckness.
So, go ahead. Lie down on your bed, get in a comfortable position, grab a pillow, let your mind go blank, and most importantly remember to take deep breaths from the pit of your stomach.
The deeper the breath, the richer the experience.
Focus (On Deep Breathing)
Okay, I know that this was a movie with Will Smith and Margot Robbie.
One of these days, I am going to watch this movie just for future reference.
But as of right now, if you ever feel like you have a difficult time concentrating on a single task, then you are in great luck.
Meditation helps you to focus on your breath and if your breath is deep, your focus is more probable to be enhanced. This simply means that you will have a more profound, life-changing experience.
I’d even argue that mindful breathing during meditation is the antithesis to the dangerous, mind-numbing effects of multitasking.
Another time. Another article.
Focus is the Motif
Even though it might seem — from the outside in — that deep breathing exercises for meditation might only help in one aforementioned way, focus can take you a very, very long way.
Matter of factly, focus can transform your life from the inside out in every known and unknown area of your life.
Life might be filled to the brim with distractions, but this is one sure-fire way to see through the trees and capture the forest of your dreams.
Who are you when you can conquer the challenges of our obstacle course?
How much more can you accomplish when your vision is not obscured by life’s happenings?
There wouldn’t be any distractions if you didn’t have an objective to focus on, make progress with, and complete.
You have no idea just how powerful you are.
So, it is essential to understand that your focus will be enhanced greatly & thoroughly through this practice and will boost your ability to get multiple tasks completed well done during any given interval, or set of time.
To reiterate, never lose focus.
If you don’t control your focus, your focus will control you.
Co-Creator of Your Deep Breathing Reality
You are a diamond in the rough.

Provided that it is extremely tempting to feel like a victim to your life’s circumstances, life doesn’t happen to you — it never does. Life always happens for you.
That’s right. This is a law of attraction principle.
I want to make one thing clearer than the brightest, most abundantly sunny day: it’s not your fault.
None of it.
Even if it seems as though you are in the world’s deepest, most ominous abyss, there is a way out. There is a way to manifest a life that perfectly suits who you were destined to be: your greatest version.
Transform My Reality
While it is easier said than done, without a doubt, everything that happens in your life is designed to make you a stronger, greater, and better version of yourself.
Nothing is too great or challenging for you to not only survive but also handle and thrive on with flying colors.
However, you have to meet your destiny halfway. You have to be what it is you want.
At the end of the day, you have the power to transmute all negative energy into nothing less than the positive, perhaps more, but you have to go deep within…
And it all starts with how you breathe on your meditation spree.
Meditation helps you to get in touch with your Higher Self, who then aids your further to create your best, most auspicious, and optimal reality.
Here! I’m Present
Contrary to popular belief, you can change your past, especially if you work on changing your future in the present moment. Speaking of which, according to your subconscious mind, the present moment is the only thing that exists.
What happens five years ago or five years later is just as fresh, pertinent, and recent as plus or minus five seconds of now.
Where are you going with this?
It is never too late to change the direction of your life is sailing. There is always time to change the course as long as there is breath in your body.
Remember, you are the sailor in charge, not to boat nor the wheel up in front.
The question is: how deeply do you want it (pun intended)?
How deeply do you want to take back what’s inherently yours and rightfully so?
How deeply do you want to co-create who you are?
The deeper you go, the greater the co-creation results.
Infinite, limitless possibility dwells within.
You are a diamond fresh out of the rough.
Olly, Olly Addiction-Free
Speaking of meditation spree, how do you like my neat little pun?
Did you know that mindful breathing while meditating actually helps to fight and beat addiction?
Think about it. Addiction is usually the unhealthy effect of a harmful cause; it is spawned out of an imbalance inherent in your life in efforts to fill a deepening void.
But the most tricky attribute of addiction is the fact that it could be anything (e.g. Internet, drugs, sex, etc.).
Believe it or not, we all develop addictions as a substitute for an admittedly healthier, more productive alternate. Real talk, society doesn’t go out of its way to procure us with the skills and discipline necessary to be any less than co-dependent and vulnerable so.
And whereas addiction is oftentimes synthetic and laden with substantially harmful chemicals, mindful meditation is a deeply impactful method to forge substantial, long-term progress to reverse the side effects.
What if you don’t have a void within your soul?
What if the only way to cure your void is to not look around for a substitute?
If you need to be a teacher towards your experience with addiction-based challenges?
Key to Freedom
You don’t need a substitute. You need to be an autodidact or a self-starter.
Moreover, you are the motivation you need to be free from the prison of addiction. Nothing or no one outside of that can do that for you, only you.
You can and you will.
Another lesser mentioned method to overcome addiction is by realizing that you need fewer problems than solutions; anything that adds fuel to the fire needs to be annihilated effective immediately.
Anything that doesn’t positively serve you needs to leave before it takes full reign, control, and precedence over you.
Kill it while it’s in the peewee league, while it’s a peewee.
But even if you have a major league problem, it is never too late to be a professional athlete in withdrawal and recovery.
And unlike addiction, practicing deep breathing during meditation helps you break free from being controlled and dependent in more ways than one. This guides you towards the root cause of your issues, unpeels the layers, and profoundly changes the story you’ve been telling yourself since when.
It is time to find the real reason why you are so helplessly, hopelessly addicted to unhealthy patterns, energy dynamics, and coping mechanisms. And now is the time to seek refuge in mindful meditation.
Meditate deeply on what would happen if you broke free from your addictions and healed your void organically.
What you seek will find you and vice versa.
Deep [Breathing] is Rich
In conclusion, you can affirm that the deeper you meditate, the richer your life will be. Your health is your wealth. When you take care of your health, the quality of your life will be wealthy in more ways than you can breathe.
Remember that you are young, focused, creative, and free.
Even though I only shared 4 benefits of deep breathing in meditation, the benefits are infinitely rewarding.
I hope that all is well, that my content found you well, and that you are well on your way to your greatest version.
Let me know if you have any questions, thoughts, or comments.
21 Days to a Richer, Deeper You!
Cheers, you are enhanced.
