awesome ebb and flow meaning — excellent, fantastic!

Spread the love

Ebb and flow meaning

Ebb and flow quite simply means the highs and the lows, the hot and the cold, the positive, and the negative, the black and white, the bang and the whimpers. “The Fame and fortune and everything that goes with it…” to quote Freddie Mercury. In other words, ebb and flow is the circle of life. Despite the fact it appears to be a final destination, it is rather the initiation of an endless journey. Nonetheless, when we don’t meditate, it can feel like we are the tide itself. Up and down, moody, neurotic, stressed out, and prone to an irritable being. This is often the result of imbalance, chemically and otherwise. Accordingly, meditation serves as the anthesis to this imbalance. It’s not that meditation is an escape from reality, contrary to popular belief, but rather an upgrade to your most optimal reality. In other words, meditation is all about weathering the storm with the simple understanding that you are everything but. Yet, to understand the ebb and flow meaning is to be neutral to its experience. And while it is nice to be present in the moment, there is a thin line between being present and allowing yourself to get carried away by the current. Except, it is easier said than done. In the heat of the moment, it might seem as though you are powerless and thus incapable of standing your ground. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. After all, in sickness and in health, you are all that you seek in this ebb and flow world.

Victor vs. Victim

Wanna Manifest Something But Can’t Quite Catch Up?!!
Unfortunately, we are hardwired to think the worst. It is in our nature to hyper focus on the negative and under-appreciate the positive. But, what kind of species would we be if not for the evolution? If not for the ebb and flow in regard to who we are and who we are trying to become? Yet, the catch is that we were never lesser to the circumstance at hand. It was only a matter of the state of mind in which we identified with most. To paraphrase Harrison Ford, whether you think you can or can’t, you are right. So, when you are going through the ebb and flow, meaning the battle of victor vs. victim mentality, just know that you hold all the power. Thus, you are not the one to wear the crown — no, far greater!!! You are the crown. Indeed, you are the crowd with the diamond mind broiling inside. Because of this, you are the power of neutralization, willingness, and mindful response combined.

Building Bridges Within

Violence Begets Violence | Sovereign & Supreme
At first glance, you might think that all the power lies outside of you. Life is the type of illusion that puts all its eggs into external appearances, or so we thought. In reality, if there are walls around, that’s because we must build bridges within. Everything outside of us is a reflection of us. If you feel like you are disconnected from the outside in, you have succumbed to the greatest illusion of all time — separation! — from the inside out. So, how does meditation help with building bridges within? It allows you to listen to your heart. You don’t have to force the experience. The experience knocks on your door. And, accordingly, your soul answers the call. The excavated treasure comes to light and suddenly, or not so much, the truth of the matter shines before your eyes: you are the wall and the bridge. It’s like the devil and the angel on your shoulders. Only you would have weightless shoulders if you chose what was in your best interest. Essentially, if you want a world that is devoid of racism, sexism, homophobic, transphobia, xenophobia, and division, bridge your world of unity. Every bridge begins with meditation. Perhaps an ebb and flow meaning also includes walls, ahem, water under the bridge.

Grounding vs. Stagnation

Self-Love is the Best! 💚💜❤️
There’s a thin line… between grounding and stagnation. Yes, you read that correctly. The kicker is the spectrum between grounding and stagnation. On the one hand, you are making peace between the ebb and flow. On the other hand, you are not moving either way to avoid the inevitable fluctuation. However, at the opposite end of both spectrums comes a choice between one of two realities. Love or fear. Those are arguably the two most polar frequencies yet! In love, you grow in grounding. In fear, you decay in stagnation. Without a doubt, we all have a little (or a lot!!) of both. Again, that’s because of the ebb and flow. Nonetheless, we all have to decide whether we are to identify with the ebb or flow. Moreover, flow has ebb and vice versa, yet it is our focus that determines the direction in which we turn. To realize that stagnation is a distraction is to understand that grounding must be the focus. Therefore, consider meditating at least once a day, taking a hot, steamy bath, breathing deeply in nature, and doing the things you love best. Never has, “you’re grounded” been so good! Be grounded!!!

Being a Happy Medium in Ebb and Flow

How to Thrive in a Plandemic
Because we are all human, it is natural to get lost in the moment. The trick, ahem, treat is finding the heart space within to rebound. You do this, of course, through the power of neutralization and visualization. After all, if high and low were sad, medium would be happier than a lark. Speaking of which, imagine that you are out in the woods.

There is fresh snow sticking on the ground. The dark air is arctic and nippy as the clouds puff an impending storm. Your thick, yet malleable clothing whistles with the wind. Yet, as you try to find common ground, the bonfire to your side roars. It is as if the toasty, volatile flames are going to devour you like an alligator’s stew. So, what do you do? How do you make peace between two greater evils? How do you find the best within, not merely around, the worst?

Rejection is the Root of all Acceptance

Acceptance. Accept where you are at in this predicament. You are not okay. That’s okay. You are everything but comfortable. That’s to be expected. There is a chance you might not make it through the night. When you get too warm, you wish it were cooler. When you get too cold, you wish you were warmer. Yet, you have no where else to go. So, to survive, you settle for both. So, how can you thrive when the weather — not you! — is hot and cold.

You are Warm!

And sane, as you are everything but more of the same ebb and flow meaning. That’s it! Move along. Come closer to the fire, although not too close. Embrace the icy weather as sunlight goes further away from the eternal night. Step into your light and make peaceful resolution with the warring conflict.

The sun will come out tomorrow. After all, the darkest hour always comes before dawn.

Progressing vs. Perfecting

Beautiful Video Explains Why Practice Doesn’t Make Perfect

At last, meditation is all about being the progress you seek. There are infinitely many ways to improve, and yet none of them amount to perfect. Furthermore, you might save yourself needless ebb and flow if you stop chasing perfection. And despite its debatable nonexistence, we can all argue that it will flee from you accordingly. Instead, let your progress come to you as necessary. Most of the times we can save ourselves if we stop trying to save ourselves. In other words, the less we stop veering away from ourselves, the more we can go home to our true nature. For example, if you are playing basketball, focus on how much better you are now. Focus on all the progress you have been making. You will continue. To be honest, ups and downs are a natural part of life. We wouldn’t excavate the sanity within if not for the insanity around. In the game of life, you will sometimes lose and win other times. Yet, you are only a loser if you declare yourself as such. To reiterate, you are what you say you are. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions encompass your destiny. In the same vein, you are a learner and a winner in the mountain and valley times alike. Focus on this. Let this vision progress, materialize, and thus grow. Remember, you are not here to be perfect. You are here because you are a divine expression of all that is perfectly imperfect. Accordingly, you are special and unique as you are. In the end, life isn’t happening to you. It is happening for you to meditate, find yourself, and be the alignment on your progressing, invaluable journey.
