Yes! This is a VERY legitimate concern. When you are first starting out, that brain of yours will find just about every way to make you say, “Forget it! I’m not doing it! This is too uncomfortable a path of forge.”

I’d try just taking deep breaths and focusing to the best of your ability on that object. At night time, I would just do that until I fall asleep. It works more effectively, profoundly when you breathe out your mouth. But I’d try the nose every now and then.
Meditation removes all the mental fog and elevates your level of consciousness. So, naturally, you are faster mentally when there is less cargo to carry. Weightless shoulders only in the brain.

Hello there! This is a really informative article. I am aware of the positive effects of meditation, but not on a specific and detailed enough level. Your article provides just that! In the past, I was a bigger practitioner of meditation, but nowadays, my technique feels sloppy. Even though from an outsider’s point of view, we might look like we are meditating, I would say most of the time for me, I am just internally planning, worrying, or just thinking about other things instead of focusing on only breathing. Do you have any advice on the regaining the “mindfulness” aspect of meditation?
I would recommend that you let the mindfulness meditation flow to you. Try not to force the process. Just let it happen. Allow it to be even more mindful than before. You can meditation on more than breathing. Your focus is on letting go of the need to control. To be in control by being.

I think it is realizing the fact that you are always meditating. You have to center yourself and take the time to invest in your future self today. What is more important you, your future, or your business? It takes time but it is worth being objective and authentic with your inner self. Always do what truly makes you feel good.
