Listen, your heart is…
Trying to communicate with you. Asking you to slow down. Encouraging you to step outside of your comfort zone. Speaking to your ability to follow your gut. Perhaps, we will never know. Perhaps, we will always be in the dark about what our hearts really want us to do. This is especially evident when we prioritize our heads, in more ways than one, above all else. But, maybe we are the key to listening and thus establishing a balance between our head and heart. After all, who is the real person showing us that listen, your heart is the language of your soul.
That said, life can be quite distracting. Between work, school, domestic life, relationships (platonic and romantic), and the boisterous, capitalistic nature of Western Civilization, it can be quite elusive to drown out the noise. This is, of course, the capacity, to hone in on the sound of silence. Only, it is only silent by comparison to the noise out there. Or so we thought.
Interestingly enough, infinitely many possibilities and realities fall through the cracks and get lost in translation. The heart is an eternal source of communication. Thus, when it is blocked, listening to your heart becomes quite the challenge.
The question is: are you ready? Are you ready to set the intention to flow with the voice of your heart chakra. If you are, then congratulations. You’ve officially arrived on the right page. If not, that’s okay. Just know that everything works in divine timing.
All is well
All hope is not lost. Yet, you must have faith in listening to what your heart is saying.
As a result, meditation is your best friend to the very end. If you desire to listen to your heart, meditation allows you to take the time to slow down. Ironically, one could argue that it is the most timeless of experiences — pure nirvana! Thus, it increases your receptiveness to communication. Also, it helps bring balance to your throat chakra, the chakra for expression and transparent communication. In general, meditation is an amazing catalyst for unblocking all your chakras, at least seven in counting. Because of this, meditation is the bridge between what your heart is saying and thereby what it means.
To be honest, your heart is quite similar to any other form of synchronicity, it speaks to you in the language you most understand. And yet, it doesn’t speak English. It doesn’t speak Mandarin. It doesn’t speak German, French, or Portuguese. Quite frankly, the heart speaks your language. The heart is the archetype of divine, universal communication.
It is for this reason why your heart makes the difference between life and death. Of course, this applies in countless ways in this ever-expanding multiverse. And what better way for quick and accurate service to fulfill your soul’s mission? Meditation.
Yes, this is all about you. Every part of you on the same page. Imagine, what it would feel to experience this strangely blissful wave of holy matrimony within and around. Instead, it is not a glimmer of hope in an ocean of hopelessness. It is not merely a tidal wave. But rather, your heart is an eternal ocean. Or as Roxanne Richie (MegaMind; 2010) quipped, a heart within an even bigger heart…
Chained to the Rhythm?!!
However, noting how societal conditioning, negative or otherwise, influences the flow of our heart is a must-have. Asking ourselves who am I if I didn’t know who I am? is the epitome of an existential breakthrough. And, as much as we would like to face the music, we very frequently susceptible to losing ourselves in the beat and melody. Accordingly, we think that sonically that’s who we are. As you can see, that’s where our identification is located.
But, in reality, another core attribute of listening to our hearts is focusing on the lyrics. How “Chained to the Rhythm” are we? How can we wake up and smell the roses? What is the song of our hearts telling us about ourselves, our world, and the entire construct of all that is?
Again, the focus must be on finding balance. Despite this, one must lose balance to find balance. In other words, they must let go of their perception of balance, actually the manifestation of an imbalance, to obtain and thus retain a reality of balance.
After all, meditation is the essence of coming out into the light of your divine purpose and thus emanating your most authentic, open, nonjudgmental, and potent self.
Your Heart is Your Treasure
As you can see, it is in your best interest to be the real you — whoever that may be?! Moreover, the time is always now to be who you are meant to be. Even if that is lying relatively dormant within the chambers of your heart. Just acknowledging who you are is a signpost of freedom at its finest. Remember, you are an immense, invaluable treasure worth excavating. So, let your freak flag fly. Listen, your heart is telling you to be present and be what makes you feel like the best you.
Nonetheless, one must eradicate who they are not to accentuate who they are — I am such an xNTP, sorry, I digress?!!
But, how does one allow this to happen? Well, it is neither as simple nor complex as you think. As a matter of fact, I’d argue that it is deceptively simple at best. In essence, this is about letting the layers fall off your endoskeleton — what is left, who is that? The layers of who you used to be that is. Speaking of which, aren’t we always in a battle between the person we are and the person we are trying to be?
Your Heart: A Bridge of Feathers?!!
And if you still struggle with listening to your heart, know that a bridge of feathers is better than a wall of bricks. At least, you are allowing communication to shine through the cracks and illuminate your soul.
That’s right. Don’t force communication. Don’t make your heart open. Those are sure-fire ways to not enjoy the process.
Instead, let it happen and bear witness. To reiterate, let it happen and bear witness. Indeed, that is the heart of meditation. Letting life unfold for you the way it is meant to. And believe me, it will all be in your best interest. Even the most unforeseen events, unprecedented circumstances are blessings in disguise. All you need to do, ahem, be is evidence the miracle (e.g. 222). Additionally, listening to your heart could be as simple as taking five minutes out of your day to do something mindful, something that you love. Perhaps you love to sing, read, camp, surf, hike, write poetry among other things. It’s all you!!!
In other words, if it feels good, do it. Be more of what makes you feel happier than a lark. Accordingly, I can rest assure you that it will be more than a feeling. It will be a motivation, a mantra, a musical encore. A lifestyle. A lifestyle in the name of all things mindful and meditation. So, why not rekindle the flame? Why not allow your heart to reign and take the lead?
Listen, your heart is…
Better yet, not only listen to your heart but also allow it to speak to you. After all, communication is a mutual exchange of information, an energetic vibration in which encompasses the universe. Thus, meditation is the happy medium. Why not meet the universe halfway and let the rest unchain?
In the end, listen, your heart is showing you how much five minutes can shape your life’s outcome? Let all the emotions flow to you and let them empower you to be your most enlightened version. Why not emanate at the highest frequency thereof?
