Often when we mention concepts that are considered asinine or ludicrous, others insinuate that we have lost our mind, which complicates your awakening process.

Thank you for sharing this amazing article. I think it’s always important to explain and maintain the distinction between spirituality and religion. While, spirituality can be present within a religion, being religious mostly deals with abiding by the laws and rules of the religion you follow whereas if you are spiritual it is much more of a personal relationship between yourself and the universe/chosen deity(deities) etc. Meditation is a wonderful spiritual practice as you mentioned because it helps us tune into our own bodies and subconscious mind and tune out everything else. This is one way that we do indeed become closer with the universe.
