What is the art of meditation?
One has to wonder what is the art of meditation when like art, meditation can be just about anything creatively expressed.
Believe it or not, the ambiguity of meditation is its best attribute. Everyone has a different way of describing it. You could argue that how one experiences meditation is tailored to who they are what they best need. Indeed, it is an entirely subjective experience. In the same vein, the common denominator is how meditation is the art of self-actualization.
It is the humanely beautiful process that enriches your soul. Whether you realize it or not, you are the painter. Meditation is the canvas that only you can create. That said, you and your works of art — experiences — are unreplicable. One of a kind!
Thus, this article will be exploring what is the art of meditation and how it uniquely applies to you.
This post will be divided into six sections are arranged as follows:
- Gallery of Hope
- Freedom!
- Abstractaganza
- Poetry of the Soul
- Canvas of a Century
- Masterpiece!
Gallery of Hope
Regardless of what your situation may or may not be, meditation will help you to thrive. It artfully transmutes your external circumstances to your most ideal internal condition. How?

Every time you go on your soulful journey, you are feeding your soul with a gallery of images. A cornucopia of invaluable goods and services. The catch is there is none. Without a doubt, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Arguably, the most beautiful attribute of meditation is that it effortlessly paints life the way your canvas was always meant to be. If you ever struggled to know what you truly want, meditation does the trick. Plus, you don’t even have to try.
You are not painting the images in your head. You are letting the images come to you and thereby paint themselves.
Clearly, this is counterintuitive. In addition to this, true tends to operate in this very manner.
If you ever yearned for an art museum, meditation brings the visual literacy right before your eyes.
It is like you are walking down an aquarium of art. Variety. Peace. Hope. And an endless flow of possibility.
Moreover, you get what you are meant to have when you simply be it. All you have to do is relax into the unknown. Let it be known to you.
Even if you are in the most hopeless situation, you are stronger, greater, and better. Additionally, meditation helps you to see life as it is meant to be.
In no time, you will envision your greatest, most-actualized version. And like a wave that never dies, you will rise.
Your gallery of hope will rise in your vision’s increasingly vast, unparalleled tides. Where the images reside, your subconscious mind is changing from the inside out. Your canvas is about to burst to life.
Freedom
A form of art, meditation helps you to unleash the beast within. If you have ever felt stifled by the mundane, meditation helps you to roam free. Imagine your imagination running rampant in an idyllic landscape. A yellow filter is upon you. The sky is limitless. The view is ever so panoramic. You are dwelling broader than the most majestic ocean. You are flying to new and improved heights like an eagle on the mountain top.
Then, you realized that you are not your mind. You are not your body. Your soul is infinite, powerful, divine, and limitless.
Furthermore, piece by piece, it dawns on you that you simply forgot who you are. Who you were born to become. The image you were meant to best and perfect. Life is your movie to direct. Your script to write. Meditation becomes your saving grace.

An immersive, enticing, sensational high that helps you to escape. Life’s entrapment becomes no more than a game.
In the same vein, you realize that reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one as Albert Einstein once quoted.
You were never your False Self, Ego, nor your situation. You were always a free being in the dream of physical incarnation.
Suddenly, you rejoice in the fact that all the times you flew in your dreams, you were truly away.
With each breath you take, you more intently focus on the joy that will follow you when you awake. Every session nurtures your soul and guides you to find your way.
An enormous eureka moment slaps you on your face. You’re jumping on the edge of your seat as you brim with revelation.
Finally, as you get in vibration with your true nature, you realize that every day is an opportunity to be grateful.
You say to yourself, “Wow! I am free and complete and on top of the world. I am grateful to be blessed with such bliss, inner peace, harmony. What did I do to get so lucky?”
As a result, you awaken to the art of your soul. Freedom is your latest vacation. You are your most auspicious destination!
Abstractaganza
Likewise, as stated numerous times before, meditation will surprise you. It is an art that ages like fine wine. A timeless masterpiece that leaves you begging for more substance in your life. Because of this, the benefits are endless.
What’s more?
There are no limits to your imagination. The thing, ahem, person that limits your limitless imagination is you. Provided that this can both be deliberate and inadvertent, it more than likely the latter. And that’s an art of meditation. Allowing you on the path of insight and re-discovery.
Experiencing the unlimited in a supposed limited capacity. Soon, you remember a time that never was. Only to see that you have always been unlimited. That your true nature is beyond your wildest dreams.
Perhaps, you would have never thought that the true nature of reality all starts with the art of perception.
Consequently, meditation is art with infinitely many interpretations, contexts, and meanings. And just like abstract art, meditation is symbolic of what life means and how it is conveyed.
The difference, of course, is that unlike your typical abstract artist, meditation is art for the subconscious. By extension, this also applies to the subconscious mind.
With each pressing stroke or whatnot, meditation paints your mind with images to die for. With images to remember for an entire lifetime. Why?

Meditation is an art museum of abstractaganza! In other words, this is an abstract extravaganza that downloads state-of-the-art images into your internal hard drive. The real you is painting a picture for your self-actualized Future Self.
And while extravagant, abstract art is all the more necessary. It is invaluable. So, buckle up!
Your mind is going on an art spree!
Poetry of the Soul
Even though people typically forewarn that everyone has a book inside, we also have poetry inside. Sure, you might be thinking, “I am not a poet,” “I can’t write,” or “ew, poetry isn’t even my cup of tea.” Or something to that effect. But, nonetheless, the story of meditation is for everyone. As it is unique to everyone. We all do it, knowingly or otherwise.
Whether you or conscious or not, your soul is always communicating with you. It is a paintbrush that is always stroking your (ego!) canvas.

Always informing your subconscious mind of its unspoken, sometimes downtrodden language. Verbal or not, it has a voice that must be expressed in one way or another.
Therefore, if something is unbalanced, your soul — the real you — will get your attention in subtle ways. For example, you might have a bizarre, seemingly random dream that highlights the struggles you deal with in reality. Whatever the case might be, your soul rarely falters to commune the nature of your innermost knowing. The core of your spiritual diction. Your inner voice most alive.
Because of this, when you get in-tune with your creative spiritual side, you just might feel a song coming on. Besides, there is always a story, a basic melody, or a moral behind every tune. If you repress this, it will express without your consent.
This is how meditation is art. It gives you unlimited access to the poetry of your soul. The words of your heart just begin to flow. And before you know it, your epiphanies of insight grow like a beanstalk fresh out of limbo.
And with time, you learn how to live for the moment in the zone. Essentially, you then hear the blues of your soul.
You not only speak the language of the soul but you also singing it. Dear reader, this is your moment to let loose and go!
Canvas of the Century!
If you have ever heard the phrase, “Can’t nobody do it like Jesus!” that phrase couldn’t be any more true. This is especially evident regarding the utter masterpieces “you” create with the reigns of your subconscious mind. Again, you are one of a kind. There can never be another you. As a result, you are the MVP of your life. No soul can create art as great as you can.

Because of this, meditation is your art piece. Or should I say, your art pieces of classic proportions? You by yourself are an unreplicable, special breed of art. Meditation is just the full, unlimited embodiment of this art. A testament to your cosmic humanity. All you can do is revel in awe of your royal tongues.
Quite simply, you see you are light years greater than you once thought. Indeed, everything is possible when you believe in meditation’s gallery of legendary art.
A legend of biblical proportions you are.
I would say canvas of the century but everyone’s experience is different. After all, meditation paints you in your real image.
Not to mention how you are the infinite co-creator of your life.
Furthermore, you are not competing against anyone. You are competing within. Better yet, you cooperating in perfect harmony with the canvas of your soul.
Can’t nobody do it like you because you are one of an art (pun intended)? You are your best version coming full circle.
As a result, you are most reformed. And if there is one thing meditation does best that is painting a deeply moving canvas the leaves you awestruck for the centuries to come. As you can see, meditation is your canvas of the century.
Masterpiece!
Truth be told, there is no such thing as good or bad art. The same applies to meditation.

However, it is more than true that meditation is not only art but also a masterpiece in its own right. Meditation is perfectly imperfect. It seamlessly embraces all that is human, flawed, and messy to create Shakespeare-level literature for the soul. All without even trying. You are not creating a masterpiece. The masterpiece is creating and thereby upgrading you.
Every art piece you create with meditation is stored in your personal museum, art gallery, and Library of Congress. Complete with a special, unique ISBN number to shelf and read.
You do have a story, a song, a poem, and a critically lauded art masterpiece hidden within. The trouble is all but gone with the aid of meditation. It brings anything about you or your life, from the dark to the light. It is a process of illumination. Of Enlightenment.

What’s the best part? It only gets better from there.
Eventually, you understand that you’ve been dreaming. You wake up, smell the roses, and embody this simple fact: I am greater than I’ve been programmed to believe.
Your eyes flood with tears of joy when it clicks that you are the masterpiece. You are the subconscious. Your greatest assets and, to a greater extent, unknown capabilities are what make you such a treasure to behold.
Consequently, you see the God within. Like a sorcerer who has discovered the instant, infectious magic of the Source inside.
In the end, with every meditation session, you grow more okay with the uncertainly of life. Your fear of the unknown transmutes into the love of artfully, masterful ambiguity. You breathe & sleep on the masterpiece dwelling, cultivating within.
You dream of your dividends multiplying on the gloomiest of weekends.
And even though Rome wasn’t built in a day, you start to reap a better life with every breath you take.
Above all, meditation is a rare, customary breed of art that mirrors your greatest, most resonate ambitions: the canvas of your life.
Every part of your being is an emblem of your refined divinity.
At last, you are the masterpiece! You are the art of a lifetime. The cosmic canvas that paints a story of the royal incarnation.
Value of Meditation
Indeed, the value of meditation is invaluable. To emphasize, meditation is fine, ageless, high-quality wine that refines the art of your life. Even the worst becomes the best. There is always a worthwhile, delicate story to dissect in every spill or mess.
And quite frankly, you deserve nothing less. Meditation does one thing better than all the rest: guiding you to embrace the invaluable nature of your soul’s purpose. Now is your time to shine brighter than a diamond.
Whether you have been largely hit or miss, the value of meditation is your remedy of speechless bliss.
The power of the art of meditation is beyond words. And yet, you haven’t even tapped into the soul of your full potential. So relax, make amends, grab your palette, stroke your brush, and paint your canvas as if you’ve exceeded your best Self.
What is the art of meditation?
The innermost you! You are reborn in a cosmic, divine & refined gallery of utmost truth!
You are greater than you look!
