What is the breakthrough?
So, what is the breakthrough? More aptly, when is the breakthrough? Now or later? Christmas in July? Right before my eyes as in too close to home? A few million light-years away? Right when I am about to break down? The final straw thereof?
What constitutes the basis of the breakthrough? Well, the breakthrough doesn’t have to be confined to one major event. While your life is arguably your starring role, isn’t there always foreshadowing to the grand climax at the end? Who says that the breakthrough has to be categorized to singularity?
Sure, sometimes less is more. Other times, more is bigger and better and all the merrier. Yet, when you’ve broken down so many times, you cannot help but agree with the following philosophy: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Quite frankly, your breakthrough is in all the times you’ve broken down. As such, it can be difficult to disagree that, more often than not, things must get worse before they get better. Indeed, to break down is to break through.
After all, all curses are nothing more but blessings in disguise. The same concept applies to failure in fact being the inverted state or condition of success! Moreover, this applies to meditation. Perhaps you are not noticing any results for your past few sessions. Perhaps you are not able to meditate as long because the sensations you experience are not the same.
Either way, there is a breakdown of any semblance of what you’ve grown accustomed to. As such, your breakthrough moment involves letting the old leave to allow in the new and improved.
In like manner, this article will analyze the six ways to make sense of what is the breakthrough:
- Breakdown!
- Shedding Old Skin
- Tired of Being Broke
- Dreaming of a Better Tomorrow
- Paris is Burning!
- It is What It is
Breakdown of the Breakthrough!
Perhaps your life was perfect. Perhaps you had the happiest childhood thereof, or so you thought.
Then, all of a sudden, your happily ever after took the wrong turn. Out of the blue, you find yourself way further in left field than you anticipated. The sun is scorching hot and you cannot think a single coherent thought. In mere minutes, your brain has melted into a waterfall of molasses.
You are shrouded in an oasis of darkness and a desert or aridness all at once. Your empire is collapsing to the ground. The life you put your heart and soul into is in ruins right before your eyes. The simmering heat melts your eyes like onions.
Moreover, as you search for a way out of the ever hopeless chasm, you no longer recognize what kept you stable in the first place. No one or nothing can save you from the inevitable crashing and burning into your being. A cocktail of emotions floods your body like a tsunami to an island of shrapnel. Sticks and stones may break your bones is an understatement.
Your entire world has turned upside down. Accordingly, even a glimmer of hope seems like a bleak possibility.
At last, you crack like the deserted terrain, rolling like a tumbleweed in no man’s land. As a result, you don’t recognize the wreck you think you’ve become. It feels like you have lost your personhood, your humanity, and most importantly yourself.
Yet, your breakdown is an intention to meditate on: breaking out in the name of revelation.
Shedding
How would you feel if you wore the same skin all your life? What would your essence look like if you were always a caterpillar or even a butterfly? Why would anyone desire their progress to be synonymous to that of a vampire – immortal, yet supposedly infertile and perpetually ageless?
In some respects, perhaps it is a great thing to be mortal. How would you grow into your greatest version if not for change? After all, isn’t change the only constant there is? How else would you be able to fly at your highest altitude?
Quite frankly, it is your time. Allow old skin to fall off. Let the bird’s cage open. Drop the cocoon and unleash the butterfly within. Indeed, the breakthrough is all about continuity. Of course, this is the process of embracing every part of yourself – past, present, and future.
As such, this is meditation at its finest. Ogres and all, we are all onions for we all have layers. Accordingly, allowing these layers to unfold per divine plan is the key to understanding how breakdowns synthesize to the breakthrough.
Tired of Being Broke
Of course, this concept applies in more ways than one. Eventually, one can get broke off of the thought of being broke. Yet, the issue is not with you being broke. Quite the contrary, this pertains to the identity of brokenness. As such, when we are conditioned to identify with certain ideologies, said ideologies secretly run our lives. Likewise, these are called success blockers. In other words, subconscious limiting beliefs stifle you from living the life you readily deserve.
As a result, you experience blockages in your energy centers. However, you are not alone. Just about everyone experiences inhibitions. That’s why giving up a boy at the age of seven tells you what type of man he’ll be. In essence, the beliefs one’s indoctrinated with whilst in theta state dictate their life.
Yet, all hope is not lost. Actually, there are several ways to access the golden gates between conscious and subconscious awareness. As such, this is the portal of manifestation.
Naturally, you can access this via meditation. All it requires is a comfortable, safe space, some deep breaths, a mantra, or an intention to relax and focus on an object.
Also, you can try praying, forest baths, and paying attention to synchronicities.
Indeed, you are rich, wealthy, prosperous, and abundant. But, you have to feel as you are.
If you are tired of being broke, try not to give all your power away to the idea of being broke in any capacity. As such, the breakthrough is right around the corner when brokenness is a hoarse, jolly green joke.
Dreaming of an Escape is the Breakthrough in Reality
How do you escape everyday horrors? What coping mechanisms have you adopted? Do you believe vacation drives in more than one connotation, physically and otherwise?
Do you find it ironic that there is an uncanny correlation between how you feel and who you are – at least at the moment? So, what if you don’t need to dream of an escape? What if you are the dreamscape you’ve been waiting for?
Perhaps it is less about traveling out of state and more about journeying your landscape. Perhaps your dream is more of a hidden reality than a mere dream.
Above all, your breakthrough is in the bittersweet moments in which your reality is so broken that you dream of an escape. Indeed, meditation is all the vacation you need to embody all the love, zest, passion, and bliss you O so crave.
Paris is Burning!
Essentially, these are all valid questions to ask.
This is especially pertinent when it seems like nothing in your life is going right. Sometimes you get the vibe that everything is outside of your control. Other times it seems like everything is going perfectly, only to go haywire at the last minute.
Nonetheless, this is not your fault. It is okay to make mistakes and simply not know.
You are miraculously human and thus subjected to the beauty of human error. It’s in your nature to have just a little fire in your blood. I am not telling you to go all Michael Jackson with it – not my place to do that.
Instead, I am comparing this to a pregnancy. Male or female or otherwise, can’t we all agree that labor pains are the most intense when a woman is about to give birth? Arguably, there is no greater monkey on your back than birthing the baby, gathering your bearings, and keeping everything intact.
But, what if that baby symbolized something more than a new set of flesh and bone? What if the baby represented innocence, freedom, new life, legacy, promotion, inner child reunion/healing, and last but not least breakthrough?
Don’t you feel like you are breaking down when it seems as though you are pushing out free labor? Yet, the moment you lay eyes on the cease-fire, your baby, you see your maternity leave was all but free?
Moreover, even if Paris was burning, it won’t stay there forever. In the end, there will be a fire extinguisher, water, or cease-fire of some sort. For every set back there is a check.
It is What it Is
Indeed, we’ve all gotta take some quality time to smell the roses. Despite this, it can be difficult to accept reality as it is. Noting how the world makes us feel via our senses can feel like a chore. Quite frankly, most of us are caught up in the past or future to do ourselves real justice. As such, that is the heart of suffering.
At Crossroads: The Breakthrough
Because of this, you know you are at a pivotal crossroads when you can enjoy the simplest pleasures life has to offer. Better yet, acquiring the propensity to simply observe the experience and not judge the moment accordingly.
Yes, you feel broken. Yes, you feel like you are broken beyond repair. All of these emotions are valid. Thank you for being mindful of what and how you feel and why.
To reiterate, it is okay to feel like you are out of control. In reality, you are all but broken, invalid, mindless, and out of control. As such, you are rejuvenated, healed, mindful, calm, powerful beyond measure, and a diamond breaking through the high-stakes pressure thereof.
No matter what happens in your life, you are a warrior, a winner, a champion, and a conqueror.
Accept that you are loved, powerful, and divine.
And, when you feel you are at your weakest moment, that’s the divine timing in which your strength dynamites!
In the end, asking what is the breakthrough is like asking what is this meditation going to be like compared to the last, or when is this meditation going to end tonight?
Who? What? When? Where? How? Why?
You may never know. And, that’s okay. All that matters most is the knowledge that your breakthrough is right on time.
So, what is the breakthrough in my life when a breakdown is in disguise?
