What is the Control I Yearn to Behold?
Is it the idea of control? Is it the belief that control is something we must all obtain? Do we need control as much as we crave its sustenance? Well, perhaps control is not what we envisioned. The process behind how to be in control is far more counterintuitive than we once realized. Then again, the answers to our list of inquiries might dance right on our noses. The awareness of what control does not mean remains a critical first step. Similar to meditation, control is an onion. In other words, adding more layers does not help us. Yet, when we allow the layers to wither away, that’s when we can get to the nitty-gritty of our raw, unfiltered potency. So, we might ask, what is the control I yearn to behold?
I can attest from my experiences that control is not something we become or garner. It is neither something necessarily crystallized, such as intelligence nor utilized to frame the demise of others. Quite the contrary, control is as innate as it is intrinsic. Because of this, we must look within and set our hearts free. Will we find an anchor or a yet-to-be-excavated chest? Will we discover that we are all the yearnings we craved to possess and then some? Are we closer to the gold than humankind anticipated?
What if we are the gold rush? What if we are so powerful that we gaslight ourselves into thinking otherwise? Why would our existence be such a darn mystery if there was not anything of great value to discover in the first place?

One must wonder when we started to believe control originated outside of ourselves? Matter of factly, the more we look outside of ourselves for control, the less in control we feel. Our feelings have the power to make or break our reality. So, if we could align our heads and hearts, we would be the epitome of unstoppable. We embody a treasure of power and influence, yet we play our utmost potential small by comparison. Why is that? Why do we fear success more than failure?
To clarify, it helps to get clear on what we want to manifest. We can presume that our best interest entails embodying what fuels our being with empowerment and role modeling this excavation to others. We do not have to get prepared for the unveiling of our power because we are power. Yet, what is power in which thinks of the powerless as a higher entity of control and influence?
CORRECT! We tend to view the powerless as more powerful than we are. Of course, this manifests in putting all our trust in those we deem more educated, knowledgeable, and successful than the vast majority. Yet, this mindset blocks us from unlocking the more-than-eager abundance burning inside of our bleeding hearts and diamond minds. Before we know it, we believe we need external stimuli to feel our strength and influence. Instead of investing our power in what brings us to life, we spend it. Imagine how much more powerful we would be if we stopped giving ourselves away. Why not take back the throne, our mantle?
What is the Control We Behold For The Value of Produce
In a sense, we can think of control as currency. In other words, it is a system of trade, barter, and exchange. Nonetheless, where did the power originate? Where is the source of the value? We all have produce to contribute to societal betterment. Yet, the auto-pilot mentality hijacks us into a pattern of settling for less and minimizing our probable effect. When inquiring what is the control, we must consider how we deprive ourselves of this invaluable asset. Yet, is control a privilege, a condition, or a circumstance?
Why must we insist on feeding the scarcity mindset to the point of obesity? Why not starve the same parasite that leaves our level of control anorexic? Better yet, why not give the abundance mindset its sustenance to flourish? What if we called for a cease-fire to ruin the intentions of the self-sabotaging war?
Ride the Tide of Light and Darkness
In other words, visualize how gallant, formidable, and unbroken we would be if we viewed ourselves as peaceful warriors. Yes, war is the circumstance of life, yet peace is the condition to illuminate our eyes. However, if we yearn to obtain peace in the world around us, we must encapsulate peace within ourselves. We must be what we seek if yearning for what change brings.
So, why are we hiding? Why are we running? Don’t we know how the old proverb goes? Thus, we must embrace our shadow — the elements of our shadow can neither be erased nor ignored for long. We must welcome the repressed, the subconscious, the darkness embedded in the fabric of all. One of the most effective ways to step into the light is via the awareness that darkness castrates the balls of our eyes, if only we could somehow move from that of latency to lucidity.
Yet, in light of who we are and what we might become, we must acknowledge the thirst to run back to the darkness before. The unquenchable desire to control what we thought we knew is a silent killer of our control. Yet, we must be self-guardians.
What is the Control: I don’t know what I don’t know?
Yes, indeed, the whole construct of our upbringing presents the dilemma of not representing reality. Perhaps society taught us that we needed to sacrifice crucial elements of who we are to come into control. Arguably, we do not capitalize on power this way — we sign over our rights and sell our souls to the devils we know. Then again, perhaps we know nothing, not even a day within the womb. So, with so much unprecedented reality, how do we find control’s gestation?
SURRENDER!
Surrendering to the current is easier said than done. We dread the possibility of unforeseen events drowning out all signs of life right before our eyes can process the all-encompassing tides. Yet, when we let go of what we thought we knew, that’s when we can relearn what we believe. Sometimes it is more helpful to lack knowledge on what we believe — what’s better than a clean slate; other times, we must be open to all the ways we are right, wrong, and then some?
Isn’t it a paradox that we are all and none of the control simultaneously? Isn’t it odd we are here, there, and everywhere — no wonder why one body part feels less proportional than the other when we partake in the voyage of meditation. Doesn’t it bug us that we find ourselves the best when we have lost the most? What does this entail for the control of our future?
Provided that change is the only constant in the universe, I suppose, how must we stay in control? How must we let our glory bathe us as the lighthouses navigating the oceanic scope of all unforgiving storms?
Again, we must let go of all that is outside of our control. The catch is that the less we try to control everything, the more we are in control. After all, we are always manifesting our lives, dream or otherwise. So, why not give in to the magic bundled with the element of surprise?
To reiterate, do we ever leave the womb or vice versa? Aren’t we always growing into a new species of being? Isn’t our conception the first trace of manifestation from the inside out? Don’t we have the control to be miracle babies and defy the grimmest odds? Who doesn’t contain a poignant story of a miraculous event that changed how they understood life forever?
Why does oxygen kill and revive us in the same breath?
What is the Control Boiling Deep in Our Souls?
Indeed, my objective is not to bewilder or convolute. I am to exploit how control manifests, what it entails, and how to be aligned with its frequency.
That said, the power of control lies within the breath. We must dive deep into our chests and stop waiting to exhale. Let it rip! We must accept where we are at as our new journey commences. We must embrace the void in our hearts that might never fill. Also, if we are not okay, that’s okay. If we feel out of alignment with our soul’s purpose, we must be a better tomorrow today.
However, our life turns out is in our hands. Yet, this is not a death sentence. This power is the essay of life force, freedom, rebirth, and vitality. Whether control obeys the doctrine of free will or fatalism remains a question mark right to this day.
Meanwhile, we must restore the damage that’s struck our souls seemingly behind repair. We must accept our imperfect, messy, and defectible human nature — this is what makes us beautiful souls from inception!
In the end, what is the control I yearn for is an anagram? We are control beyond measure!!!
